A Thoughtful Plan With a Special Touch


When Enrique called me, his excitement was contagious. "I want to propose to my girlfriend, and it's going to be a surprise," he said. But what made this proposal extra special was the role their beloved dogs played in it.

Enrique’s plan was as thoughtful as it was romantic. He wanted me to start the session by capturing his girlfriend and her dog, making her believe it was just a fun photoshoot. Meanwhile, he would arrive separately—with his own dog wearing a sign that read, "Will you marry my dad?" The final touch? A ring in his hand, ready for the life-changing moment.

I was in awe of the love and effort he put into this plan, and I knew I had to execute it flawlessly to capture the raw, authentic emotions of this unforgettable day.

A Love Story Eight Years in the Making


After eight years together, this moment was going to be one they'd cherish forever. As they strolled along the golden sands of Baker Beach, the anticipation was electric. The waves crashed softly in the background, the Golden Gate Bridge stood tall in the distance, and the setting sun bathed everything in a warm glow.

And then, it happened.

Enrique’s dog trotted toward her, proudly displaying the sign. She turned, confused for a split second—until she saw Enrique standing behind her, ring in hand, heart in his eyes.

Time seemed to freeze as he dropped to one knee. Her hands flew to her mouth, her eyes filled with tears, and in that instant, nothing else in the world mattered.
